Most of you, if not too young, must remember the song “Que será, será”, which stars like this:
When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty? Will I be rich?
Here’s what she said to me: Que será, será
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Que será, será
What will be, will be
Do you agree? Is it true that we cannot have any say in what our future could and would bring us? Would expecting miracles and visualizing our dreams to come true be too much? Does being realistic and logical mean limiting ourselves?
In the past, for some reason, I had the opinion of being a dreamer and believing that whatever you visualize would have the potential of realizing was lame. Now after a few decades, I recognize how foolish I was, looking down to people who have big dreams. Because now I know that they were the ones who were completely right, and every big accomplishment starts with a big dream. You get what you visualize, and you are capable of manifesting anything you want.
It is just the society, its negative influence, and ourselves that limit our imagination. We say to ourselves; “Are you crazy? How will this dream come true? How will you get there? Is it even possible to accomplish half of what you want?” The point is; we need to focus on the end product of our dream and how we feel if we already have it (notice that I am not saying “how we would feel”, but “how we feel” in the present tense as if we already reached our goal). Because putting our state of mind into the idea of already having what we dream of, is the biggest step towards achieving our big goals.
We should be able to skip all the worries about the possible hurdles, question marks, other people’s opinions, challenges and obstacles that we think we might face in order to get to our goal, and just go to the end and feel grateful as if we have reached our goal and everything is perfect, just the way we want it to be.
So, please do not limit yourself and believe in yourself, because anything is possible. You are a genius and I love you…
