Do Subliminal Messages work?

In her web site Mind of A Winner, Eva Lu, who believes that success is a skill developed by persistent people, describes Subliminal Messages as; “audio and/or visual messages that we are not consciously aware of and we can’t become aware of, even if we try”. When translated, the word Subliminal, which is made of two Latin words that mean below (sub) and threshold (limen), gets easier to understand as “messages targeting below the threshold of our consciousness”, in other words, “messages that aim our subconscious”.

This is a well-known method that has been widely used for many decades by marketers, advertisers, and politicians in order to influence public behavior. But fortunately, we could also use it to help ourselves with our choices on the way to achieving our personal goals.

In addition to Eva’s application available to download for free for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, there are multiple other options you can choose from to set up for your computer or smartphone.

The only thing you need to do, choose an app, download it, enter the positive affirmations that you want to etch into your subconscious such as; I am successful; I am self-confident; I am extremely healthy; I am at my ideal weight; etc.

You just need to make sure that your message is written in the first person (using I or me), in the present tense, positive and must not be the reverse of a negative. “I am happy” is the correct way to writing it, rather than “I am not sad“.

You can write as many affirmations as you like and the app brings those affirmations to your screen every four seconds for the duration of 10 milliseconds, which makes it impossible for you to really see them but still register them with your subconscious mind. By doing this you consciously program your subconsciousness and make things that you want to materialize and manifest a reality in time…

Try just one goal maybe with just one affirmation to start as an experiment. Let us say; “I am self-confident”… Give it four weeks time and see if there is any improvement in your self-confidence. If you feel like it is working for you, then go ahead and try other goals, other dreams that you want to achieve. I strongly suggest you give it a try.
